Peach Pie Contest
Please email info@OrchardDelights.com with your info: (contact info, pie description) by July 13th. This is a PIE contest with peaches as the main ingredient. Single, double, lattice, crumb topping is allowed and up to 2 additional fruits, as long as peach is the primary fruit. Spices and seasoning is unlimited. If you have a cobbler, crisp or crumble recipe, please feel free to enter this into our recipe contest.
Winner will be announced July 15th at our open house at 2:30. You do not need to be present to win. Prizes are: 1st place: 20lbs of peaches each week from July 15 thru August 31. 2nd: Gift certificate to the Foothill Farmers Market and a gift basket from Orchard Delights at Twin Peaks. 3rd: Art of Real Food Cookbook and gift basket from Orchard Delights at Twin Peaks.
All recipes must include contact info and include summer fruits. Email, mail or bring recipe to open house by July 15th. Recipes can include the following catagories: appetizers, salads, dressings/sauces. Main dishes: Vegetarian; Grains; meat; poultry; seafood. Desserts.
All recipes will be compiled and printed and available at our Fall Open House in December. One winner will be announced and will recieve a gourmet gift basket including gift certificates and fine handmade items.
